What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email and message, and optionally your business name, phone number and the service you're interested in. When you press send, the site emails those details to our team through our email delivery provider, Mailgun. The website doesn't keep a copy. The same goes for emails and phone calls you make to us directly.
To stop spam, the form counts how many messages come from the same connection. It keeps only a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, and only for one hour.
When you browse the site
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time. We use these logs only to keep the site running, secure and fast.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, such as which pages are visited, how long visits last, the general location (city or region) and the type of device and browser. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. We don't use it for advertising, we don't combine it with what you send through the contact form, and we have turned off Google's optional data sharing.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
The site does not use advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to you and set up a call or consult.
- To plan, build and support the work you hire us for.
- To keep records of our work with you, such as proposals, invoices and support history.
- To protect the website and fix problems.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't send you marketing email unless you ask for it.
If you're a client
When we build, host or support something for your business, we may handle information about your own customers, such as website form submissions or email accounts. We use it only to provide the service, keep it private, and follow the terms we agree on with you, including a Business Associate Agreement for healthcare clients when one is needed. This policy covers visitors to ospreyfusion.com. Your own website should have its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for as long as we work with you and as long as we need them for support, tax and legal reasons. Messages from people who don't become clients are deleted when they're no longer needed.
How we protect it
The site only works over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to our email and records is limited to our team and protected with two-step sign-in. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don't send passwords or payment card numbers through the contact form or email.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] or call (954) 519-4323 and we'll take care of it.
Children
This site is meant for business owners and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
